My work with each client is collaborative and flexible, in order to ensure that the needs of the client (and/or families) are being addressed in the most helpful way possible. We will work together to create a plan for therapy to ensure that you are reaching your goals.
Children/Adolescent: I work with children and adolescents ranging in age from 6-19 years old. Depending on their goals and needs, my work may include siblings, parents, or other caregivers. Common issues addressed in therapy: depression, anxiety, peer relationships, family communication, academic stress, ADHD, life transitions
Adults: I work with adults ranging in age from 20-65 years old. Together, we create a safe place to process and explore experiences, or to make positive and lasting-changes outside of session. Common issues addressed in therapy: depression, anxiety, romantic relationships, work stressors, life transitions
Couples: When I am working with a couple, I like to say that I am the therapist for the relationship. The goal is to be a team in session, to discover more about one’s partner, deepen their understanding of one another, and learn real strategies to improve the relationship.
Clinical Supervision: I also provide clinical supervision for Licensed Professional Counselors in Illinois.
